Edith Cavell Academy and Nursery are looking to appoint a Safeguarding and Family Support Practitioner to provide exceptional support for our children and families.

We’re ideally looking for an experienced safeguarding professional with a good knowledge of safeguarding legislation and practice. The successful candidate will be a people-person with strong communication skills that mean they’re at ease working with children, parents, colleagues and external professionals.

Staff wellbeing is important to us. If you work for us you’ll benefit from supportive school and trust leadership teams, a comprehensive employee wellbeing package and a training package built around your individual requirements. The successful candidate would be joining a really lovely team of colleagues at our school.

If you’re as passionate as we are about making a difference for children and families we’d love to meet you. Visits to our school are warmly encouraged so we can explain more about the role and give you the opportunity to see for yourself what a wonderful workplace our school is!

The role is 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
