Are you passionate about children’s education? Are you
looking to work with children with additional needs within a mainstream

Our friendly school is looking for an enthusiastic and
dedicated teaching assistant to support a deaf child who will be in our Year 1
class in September. The child uses British Sign Language to communicate,
therefore it is essential that any prospective candidates are qualified to at
least a level 2 standard.
Previous experience of working with deaf children is
desirable.

exciting place; our motto “Inspiring Success” sits at the heart of everything
we do for our children and our staff. Our teaching assistants are a valued part
of our school team and are involved in all aspects of school life. The Black
Pear Trust offers a comprehensive training offer for professional development
and supports colleagues' interests and ambitions.
The position is subject to an enhanced DBS check. The school
is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young
people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. The
school is an equal opportunity employer.
