We are keen to find a committed and motivated individual to contribute to excellent standards of teaching and learning. This is an ideal opportunity for ambitious and exceptional classroom practitioners who have the skills to develop and inspire the children in their care.

Our happy and popular school can offer:

· Friendly and enthusiastic pupils who are eager to learn and have new experiences.

· Opportunities to develop as a teacher through tailored CPD and collaborate across St Cuthbert’s Trust and support in your role through our mentoring and coaching programmes.

· A leadership team that works together to drive school improvement and wants the very best for our pupils, families and staff.

· Our Catholic mission to ‘to live, learn and serve’ drives the work that we do, both within school and in our surrounding community.

We require someone who:

· Is an experienced EYFS practitioner who has the confidence, skills and enthusiasm to lead and inspire others.

· Will contribute to whole school improvement and understanding the ‘big picture’ of the needs across the school and community we serve.

· Has a passion for teaching and learning that is seen through high-quality, creative classroom teaching and pupil engagement.

· Leads by example, inspiring others with their high expectations, and a tangible belief that all children can achieve, learn and inspire.

· Is an advocate of positive behaviour management and understands the value of building relationships with all stakeholders.

· Understands how to meet the various needs of our pupils; working alongside the SENDCO, DSL and external agencies to give the best support for our children, staff and families.

· Has proven experience in leading a team in EYFS with the ability to motivate and empower others in line with the journey of school improvement.

· Can confidently analyse a variety of data to support school improvement actions and measure impact.

· Thrives as part of a team, with a positive outlook, excellent communication skills, emotional intelligence and a good sense of humour.

· Will uphold our Catholic ethos and be an example of God’s love in our school and our community.
