About this Role

We are seeking to appoint a confident, capable and experienced Site Facilities Officer to be based at St Mary Queen of Martyrs VC Academy

37 hours per week Monday to Friday (split shifts)

Grade 5 or 6 - the appointable grade will be based on qualifications and experience

Grade 5 (SCP 8-13) £27,710 - £30,024
Grade 6 (SCP 14-19) £30,515 - £33,120

Annual Leave Entitlement - 24 days plus bank holidays and concessionary days.

The successful applicant will:

Be responsible for a primary academy, with a degree of flexibility

Ensure the safe and secure custody of the site (opening up and locking up of the site and identifying any unauthorised persons on site),

Lead with the coordination of the operational, safety, security aspects required to ensure the school is fit for receiving staff and pupils.

Undertake general maintenance and routine repairs and refurbishment of equipment, school resources and premises.

Monitor the effective provision of facilities and utilities, and organises all periodic maintenance service & inspections.
