About this Role

Salary: Grade 6, Point 6 - 9: £8,923- £9,357per annum (subject to experience)*
Contract: Permanent, 15 hours per week, 38.4 weeks of the year (term time plus 4 inset days)
*The salary quoted reflects the annual salary for the position at the time of advertising. Payment will be made in equal monthly instalments and will be adjusted at the start of employment, and again if employment ends partway through the school year, to ensure the correct salary is paid for work completed during the academic year.
We are seeking a highly organised and professional School Administrator to join our busy and friendly school office. This is a varied and rewarding role at the heart of the school, supporting staff, students, and families while ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of administrative systems.
You will provide high-quality reception and administrative support, coordinate key school processes, and contribute to delivering a positive and welcoming experience for all visitors.

The successful candidate will:
- Provide front-of-house reception support, acting as a first point of contact for visitors, students, and parents.
- Manage the school office email inbox and telephone enquiries
- Provide administrative support to Heads of Year and the Pastoral Team
- Maintain accurate manual and electronic records, including the school MIS.
We are looking for someone who:
- Holds an NVQ Level 2 in Administration (or equivalent experience).
- Has GCSE English and Mathematics (Grade C/4 or above).
- Has strong IT skills, including experience with Microsoft Office and administrative systems.
- Demonstrates excellent communication and interpersonal skills when dealing with staff, students, parents and visitors.
- Is highly organised, able to manage competing priorities, and work both independently and as part of a team.
- Can maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
Previous experience working in a school environment would be desirable but is not essential.
