About this Role

Headteacher – Albert Bradbeer Primary Academy

Salary: Leadership Scale (dependent on experience)
Location: Longbridge, Birmingham

Lead with vision. Inspire with purpose. Achieve with heart.

Albert Bradbeer Primary Academy, part of the Greenheart Learning Partnership, is seeking a dynamic, forward-thinking and compassionate Headteacher to lead our school community on the next stage of its exciting journey.

Our academy is a caring, inclusive and ambitious school where every child is known, valued and inspired to reach their full potential. We are proud of our creative curriculum, our strong pastoral care, and our commitment to developing learners who are confident, curious and ready for the future.

We are looking for an exceptional leader who will:

  • Provide strategic direction, professional leadership and a clear, ambitious vision for the continued success and improvement of the school.
  • Motivate, develop and empower staff to deliver high-quality teaching and learning that engages and challenges all pupils.
  • Champion inclusion, ensuring every child—regardless of background or need—has the opportunity to thrive.
  • Promote a culture of high expectations, respect and aspiration across the whole school community.
  • Lead with integrity, compassion and resilience, modelling the values of the school and the wider Greenheart Learning Partnership.
  • Build and sustain strong, positive partnerships with parents, carers, governors and the local community.

We can offer you:

  • A welcoming, committed and talented team of staff who put children at the heart of everything they do.
  • Enthusiastic, kind and motivated pupils who love learning and take pride in their school.
  • A supportive Trust with a shared commitment to collaboration, innovation and excellence.
  • Excellent professional development opportunities and a genuine focus on wellbeing and growth.
  • The chance to shape the future direction of a thriving, ambitious academy at the heart of its community.

About You:
You will be an experienced leader—currently a Headteacher, Head of School or Deputy Headteacher—who can demonstrate a proven track record of school improvement and raising standards. You will hold Qualified Teacher Status, and ideally NPQH or NPQEL, and be committed to your own professional growth.

If you are an inspiring, values-driven leader with a passion for primary education and a commitment to every child’s success, we would love to hear from you.

How to Apply:

If you would like to discover more about this exciting opportunity, need any further information or wish to arrange a visit to the school, please contact our retained consultant at Academicis: William Bridge on 07825 346535 or via email at wbridge@academicis.co.uk
