We are seeking a highly organised, proactive and personable Administrative Assistant & PA to the Headteacher to join our exceptional administration team. This is a central role within our school: the successful candidate will support the smooth and efficient running of all administrative functions, act as a welcoming and professional first point of contact, and provide high-quality PA support to the Headteacher and Senior Leadership Team (SLT).

If you are someone who thrives in a busy environment, takes pride in excellent organisation, and is committed to delivering outstanding service, we would love to hear from you.

·       Provide honest, clear and reliable communication to staff, families and partners

·       Model professionalism at all times as the face of the school

Determination

·       Work efficiently within a fast-paced office environment

·       Support with financial administration, attendance systems and whole-school operations

·       Produce high-quality documents, letters and reports for leaders and governors

·       Offer a warm, welcoming reception service for visitors, parents, pupils and staff

·       Build positive relationships and communicate with clarity, patience and understanding

·       Support children, families and colleagues with kindness and care

Respect

·       Celebrate diversity and ensure that everyone visiting the school feels valued

·       Work collaboratively with the Office Manager and administration team to provide consistent, high-quality service

About You

·       Is highly organised, efficient and able to manage multiple tasks at once

·       Has excellent interpersonal and communication skills

·       Is confident using digital systems, databases and Microsoft Office

·       Has strong attention to detail and takes pride in accuracy

·       Can work discreetly, especially when handling sensitive or confidential information

·       Thrives in a team environment and is committed to our RIDER values

·       Is proactive, solutions-focused and willing to “get stuck in”

Experience working in a school office or similar environment is desirable but not essential.

Why Join Gladstone Park?

·       A dynamic and collaborative administration team with a great sense of humour

·       Engaged, enthusiastic pupils who love being “Gladstone RIDERs”
