We are looking for a committed Key Stage 1 Class Teacher to join Grove Primary School, someone who brings energy, strong classroom practice and a clear belief in every child’s potential. This role centres on delivering high-quality teaching that supports strong progress, adapts to individual needs and builds a positive, well-managed learning environment. Working as part of a collaborative team within the Active Learning Trust, the successful teacher will contribute to the wider life of the school, share best practice and help create a culture where both pupils and staff can thrive.

Suitable for an Early Career Teacher, with strong support, development and collaboration to build confidence and expertise from the outset.

Summary of Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver well-structured lessons aligned to the curriculum, setting high expectations for all pupils
  • Assess, monitor and report on pupil progress, adapting teaching to meet individual needs
  • Promote positive behaviour and maintain a safe, inclusive classroom environment
  • Contribute to the wider life, ethos and development of the school and Trust
