About this Role

Are you passionate about supporting children’s learning and development in a vibrant school environment?

Grove Primary School is looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our supportive and friendly team, primarily working in the Early Years Foundation Stage. This is a part-time role, working afternoons only. You will play a vital role in supporting the learning and development of our youngest pupils, helping to create a positive and engaging classroom environment.


Job Title: Teaching Assistant

Location: Grove Primary School

Contract: Fixed-term until 31/08/2026, 15.62 hours per week (afternoons only), 38 weeks per year

Salary: ALT Grade D Points 8-11 - £8,961.33-£9,174.19 Annually, Actual 


Summary of Key Responsibilities

  • Support the class teacher to prepare and maintain a safe and exciting learning environment.
  • Photocopying, filing and preparing resources for lessons as directed by the class teacher.
  • Ensure children are safeguarded by adhering to all policies and procedures
