We are seeking a caring and committed Teaching Assistant to join our SEN Unit on a maternity cover basis. This role involves supporting pupils with a range of special educational needs, helping them to access learning, build confidence, and develop independence in a nurturing and inclusive environment. Job Title: Teaching Assistant

Location: Sidegate Primary School

Contract: Maternity Cover, 32.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday 8:30am-3:30pm, 38.2 weeks per year

Salary: ALT Grade D Points 8-11 £18,731.06-£19,175.98 Annually, Actual


Summary of Key Responsibilities

  • Support the class teacher to prepare and maintain a safe and exciting learning environment.
  • Photocopying, filing and preparing resources for lessons as directed by the class teacher.
  • Ensure children are safeguarded by adhering to all policies and procedures
