About the Role
We are seeking an organised, efficient, and personable
Office Manager to lead the day-to-day running of our busy primary school
office. As the first point of contact for pupils, parents, staff, and visitors,
you will play a key role in creating a welcoming environment and ensuring the
smooth operation of administrative systems across the school.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage
the school office and provide high-quality administrative support to the
Headteacher and senior leadership team
- Oversee
pupil admissions, attendance, and record-keeping systems
- Act
as the first point of contact for enquiries, providing excellent customer
service
- Line-manage
the Administrative Assistant and coordinate administrative duties
- Support
financial processes, including orders, invoicing, and budget monitoring
- Maintain
accurate pupil and staff data in line with GDPR requirements
- Coordinate
communications with parents and external agencies
- Ensure
school systems and policies are followed effectively within the office
About You
We are looking for someone who:
- Has
strong administrative and organisational skills
- Is
confident using IT systems – experience of MS Office, and Arbor would be
desirable but training will be given
- Has
excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Can
prioritise workload and work effectively under pressure
- Demonstrates
discretion and confidentiality at all times
- Has
experience in an educational or office management setting (desirable)

This is a permanent role working 23 hours per week, on a term time only basis.
