About this Role

  • Corpus Christi Catholic Academy Trust wishes to appoint a Teaching Assistant Level 4 at St Elizabeth's Catholic Primary School. The successful candidate will working specifically with children who have behavioural needs.  The post will be on a full-time (35 hours per week), term time only basis (39 weeks a year). 

    The role:

     Take a lead role in managing and delivering pastoral support to students

    To work with groups of students under the supervision of the teacher including the delivery of therapy and programmes of work and implementation of ILPs

    Manage the supervision of students excluded from, or otherwise not working to a normal timetable

     The successful candidate will:

    • Have experience of working with children/young people with social, emotional and behavioural needs.
    • Have strong moral and ethical principles and values
    • Be able to adapt and respond appropriately to challenging situations
    •  Be open to new ideas, committed to working as part of a team and of course have a good sense of humour
    • Act with the utmost integrity at all times
