About this Role

Old Trafford Community Academy has a vacancy for someone to join our Site Team.  If you are someone with an keen eye for detail who clearly understands the need for high standards and ensuring our school is well presented to the whole school and community, you may be the perfect addition to our team.  Joining the team at OTCA you will become part of an established and successful primary academy, which is proud to be part of Focus Trust.    

The Role:

You will be working:

12.5 hours per week during term time (39 weeks) plus an additional three weeks during holiday periods.

Cleaners at our school need to be flexible and will be expected to work across all areas of the school. You will be responsible for a specific area of the building, but will  also be required to support colleagues elsewhere in the school, as required. Interested applicants need to be aware that this is a physical role which involves a lot of lifting and moving of equipment & furnishing. 

You will be required to use a variety of equipment and techniques to ensure that our children are greeted by a clean environment that will help to support their learning and development. You will be offered support to learn how to use equipment as well as a variety of training to help with your own personal development.

You will need to develop strong relationships with your colleagues  to ensure you can provide the best support possible to them and help the whole school community on our journey to be a great school at the heart of a great community.
