We are seeking to appoint a Staff Governor to join the new Local Governing Committee (LGC) at Bradfields Academy. This is a valuable professional development opportunity to support confident governance, strong accountability and continuous improvement for our learners.

About the role:

As a Staff Governor, you will:

• Contribute to strategic oversight of educational performance and finances
• Work collaboratively with governors, the Board of Trustees and the CEO
• Bring an informed staff perspective (without representing the staff body as a whole)

Who can apply

• All staff employed by Fortis Trust and based at Bradfields Academy
• Senior Leadership Team members are not eligible

We are particularly keen to hear from colleagues with:

• Analytical skills and attention to detail
• Knowledge of the Bradfields community
• Good literacy and IT skills
• Curiosity and a willingness to learn

Term of office: 4 years
Meetings: 4 per academic year
