  • Instil confidence in students as they master cooking skills, nutrition knowledge, and safe kitchen practice.
  • Create a safe, well-organised and inspiring learning environment.
  • Assess, support and motivate students, helping them take pride in their progress.
  • Build strong, positive relationships with students, colleagues and parents.
  • Have the opportunity to teach A Level Food Technology.

This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about their subject, committed to excellence, and keen to contribute to the life of a thriving school.

  • Are excellent practitioners with a creative and dynamic approach to teaching.
  • Place students at the heart of everything they do.
  • Are forward-thinking, enthusiastic, and committed to high standards.
  • Have strong behaviour management and communication skills.
  • Share and support the aims and values of Catholic education (you do not need to be Catholic to apply).
  • Want to make school a positive, rewarding, and enjoyable experience for all.

What’s in It for You?

  • Salary £13,166 – £18,140 (MPS 1–6)
  • Fantastic pupils who love to learn and deserve the very best
  • A highly skilled, friendly, and supportive staff team
  • Access to the Teachers’ Pension Scheme
  • High-quality, personalised CPD opportunities to help you grow
  • Employee Assistance Programme offering emotional, financial and legal support
  • Staff benefits including discounts and Cycle-to-Work scheme
  • A welcoming community where you are valued, supported, and encouraged to thrive
