Colne Valley High School are seeking to appoint a dedicated
and proactive Reflection Manager to join our pastoral team. The successful
candidate will play a pivotal role in leading the daily operation of our
Reflection Room, ensuring it provides a calm, structured and supportive environment
that promotes positive behaviour, personal accountability and continued
learning. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with strong behaviour
management experience and a commitment to helping students make meaningful
improvements.
As the Reflection Manager, you will oversee the provision
for students placed in Reflection, ensuring expectations are clear, routines
are consistent and the environment remains purposeful at all times. You will
deliver and coordinate a high‑quality programme of reflective
practice, support students in understanding and taking responsibility for their
behaviour, and ensure they continue to access appropriate curriculum work.
Working closely with pastoral and teaching staff, you will help identify
suitable interventions, monitor progress and support students in reintegrating
successfully back into lessons.
This role requires excellent organisational and
interpersonal skills, alongside the ability to remain calm, authoritative and
solution‑focused under pressure. You will need to demonstrate
strong behaviour management, a positive and professional approach to working
with young people, and the ability to build constructive relationships with
staff, students and families. Confidence in using school systems and
maintaining accurate records is essential.
