Are you an experienced teacher looking for a new role? 

We are seeking an inspirational and ambitious Second in Command – Maths Teacher to support the leadership of our highly successful and supportive department. Our Maths team is inventive, forward-thinking and deeply committed to ensuring every young person achieves their full potential. Following two consecutive years of record-breaking results across both the school and the department, Maths continues to go from strength to strength. Most recently, students achieved 22 Grade 9s, 72 Grades 7 and above, and 83% Grades 4 and above — a testament to the dedication, expertise and collaborative spirit of our staff and students. This is an exciting opportunity for a talented practitioner ready to play a key strategic role in driving curriculum innovation, maintaining exceptionally high standards, and inspiring both colleagues and students to achieve continued excellence.

Why work for us?  

We work hard to make all staff feel like they belong and can flourish. We create a bespoke induction plan for all new staff, shaped with their input based on their experience, strengths and aims. All teachers get an additional hour every fortnight of protected PPA, totalling 6 hours for a full-time teacher. We have a culture of 1% improvements, which means no hour-long lesson observations and no time wasted producing unnecessary paperwork. All staff love our 2 week October half term, have access to free gym use (with shower facilities), ample onsite parking, an up to date 2 in 1 laptop (tablet with pen and laptop all in one), a full Microsoft Office package and a vibrant and social staff body.
