Are you passionate about transforming the lives of young people by removing barriers to learning?
Esher High School is seeking an enthusiastic, innovative and highly motivated teacher to lead an exciting new Targeted Intervention Programme, funded by Surrey County Council.
This is a unique opportunity to shape and develop a new provision designed to provide targeted support for pupils experiencing significant barriers to learning. Working alongside a Higher Level Teaching Assistant and the wider Inclusion Team, you will identify pupils' individual needs, deliver evidence-informed interventions and support pupils to successfully access mainstream education.
The role will involve delivering a range of targeted interventions, including Functional Skills English and Maths teaching, learning re-engagement programmes and support to develop pupils' emotional regulation, confidence and independence. You will also work collaboratively with colleagues to identify barriers to learning, develop personalised intervention plans and contribute to improving inclusive practice across the school.
