Key Responsibilities

As a Higher Level Teaching Assistant, you will:

  • Lead learning activities for individuals, groups, or whole classes under the guidance of teaching staff.
  • Support high-quality teaching and the delivery of engaging lessons.
  • Provide targeted interventions to help children progress academically and emotionally.
  • Foster a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment.
  • Assist with planning and assessment, contributing to pupil progress discussions.
  • Build strong relationships with pupils, staff, and families.
  • Support the wider life of the school through clubs, events, and enrichment opportunities.
