Location: Haxby Road Enhanced Resource Provision
Hours: 32 hours Mon - Thu 8.30am - 3.30pm and Fridays 8.30 - 3.00pm
Salary: £26,427- £27,274
Actual salary: £19,779 - £20,412
Contract: Fixed Term in the first instance but we would hope to extend this to a permanent contract

We are looking for a
Teaching Assistant who has knowledge and experience of working with children
with Special Educational Needs, someone who understands the importance of
working as part of a multi-agency to ensure the best possible outcome for all
children.

This role requires a certain set of skills and
expertise

You will have a calm
and caring disposition

A strong
understanding of children with profound learning difficulties
·
A team player,
willing to work closely with likeminded people who all have the children’s best
interest at heart
·
Someone who is able
to quickly build a rapport with the children in our school and their families
·
You will be adaptable and flexible in your approach, understanding
that no two days are the same
