Our Acorns Provision is a beautiful, purpose-built learning environment supporting 16 children across Key Stages 1 and 2, all with a diagnosis of autism. Opened in Summer 2024, Acorns has quickly become one of the strengths of our academythoughtfully designed, expertly led, and full of warmth, structure and opportunity.

About the Role

We are seeking an inspiring Lead SEN Teacher to guide and grow our specialist provision. This is a role with real impact, combining leadership and teaching.

Core Responsibilities:

- Lead and manage our two-class Acorns provision

- Teach one class (four days per week), modelling excellent practice

- Oversee EHCPs, personalised learning and high‑quality provision

- Work closely with parents and lead annual reviews

- Liaise with external agencies to secure the best outcomes for pupils

- Support, coach and inspire the Acorns staff team

- Collaborate with main school colleagues, championing inclusion
