Are you passionate about providing children with a safe and enriched environment where they can creatively play at the end of their school day? If so, this could be the next career step for you. This is an exciting opportunity to supervise, grow and develop a great after school provision for pupils within our modern, purpose-built school with excellent facilities.

St Matthew’s is a truly wonderful place to work, we are modern, spacious and well equipped, with children that are an absolute delight and an incredibly supportive community. Our staff team is one that is genuinely committed to leaving no stone unturned in order to fulfil our vision that: ‘Each and every child is able to let their light shine’.  You will be joining a highly effective team with a strong and very supportive team of leaders across the school. The school is part of the St Christopher’s Trust - a family of 21 Church and Community Schools spanning three local authorities and providing a rich network of collaboration.

We are looking for candidates with a minimum NVQ Level 2 qualification in play work or childcare, with experience of working with children in an education setting and confident supervising a team. If you can provide a nourishing environment for our pupils, with the ability to maintain a positive and caring approach and an appreciation of the differing needs and abilities of primary age children, then we would love to hear from you.
