Newark Hill Academy is seeking an exceptional, forward‑thinking class teacher to join our ambitious team as a Teaching and Learning Lead. This is a class‑based role, with a UPS and TLR available for the right candidate, as we continue our journey from Good to Great.

About us:

This is an exciting opportunity for an excellent practitioner who is passionate about high‑quality teaching, professional learning, and driving whole‑school improvement. Working closely with Senior and Middle Leaders, you will play a pivotal role in developing and embedding our new Teaching and Learning framework, helping to create a culture of teaching excellence where all staff – and pupils – thrive.
Driven by our core ethos of C.H.I.L.D – Challenge, Happiness, Inspired, Lifelong Learning and Diversity, we believe every pupil deserves outstanding teaching every day. We are looking for a teacher who not only lives these values in their classroom, but who can inspire and support others to do the same.
As Teaching and Learning Lead, you will:
  • Model exceptional classroom practice
  • Support the design and delivery of our Teaching and Learning framework
  • Work collaboratively with senior and middle leaders to develop staff practice
