We recognise how vital strong literacy skills are for
students, both within school -enabling them to access the curriculum across all
subjects - and beyond, helping to open doors to future opportunities, pathways
and aspirations.
As such, we are seeking an excellent Teacher of English who
is passionate about their subject and committed to inspiring a love of
literature and language in every student.
You will deliver engaging and ambitious lessons that enable
students to explore texts and writing in creative and thought-provoking ways,
while prioritising oracy and encouraging young people to articulate their ideas
and opinions with clarity and confidence. Through high expectations and expert
teaching, you will ensure all students are supported to achieve and succeed.
As part of our dedicated English team, you will work
collaboratively with colleagues to provide the very best learning experiences
for students. You will reflect on your practice, embrace new approaches to
teaching and learning, and contribute to enrichment opportunities that broaden
students’ experiences and deepen their appreciation of English.
