We are looking to appoint a caring, enthusiastic and reliable Casual EYFS Support Worker to join our Early Years team.
This is a flexible, zero-hours role, ideal for someone who enjoys working with young children and is able to provide support when required. Hours will vary depending on the needs of the school or setting.
The successful candidate will support children in the Early Years Foundation Stage, helping to create a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment where every child can learn, play and thrive.
Responsibilities will include:
Supporting children with learning, play and daily routines
Helping to set up and tidy away activities and resources
Supporting children’s personal, social and emotional development
Working under the direction of the class teacher and Larch leaders
Promoting positive behaviour and encouraging independence
Ensuring safeguarding and health and safety procedures are followed at all times
We are looking for someone who:
Has experience of working with young children, preferably in an EYFS setting
Is patient, kind and approachable
Can work as part of a team
Is flexible and willing to work at short notice where possible
Has a good understanding of safeguarding
Holds a relevant childcare qualification, or is willing to undertake training
