Purpose of Post:
Under the direction of the Headteacher, SENCo or Teacher, work as part
of a team to promote the emotional, physical and educational development of
pupils.
The
TA will work with the class teacher to raise the learning and attainment of
pupils and will promote pupils’ independence, self-esteem and social inclusion.
The Teaching Assistant will give support to pupils, individuals, pairs or
groups of pupils so they can access the curriculum, take part in learning and
experience a sense of achievement.

candidates to share this commitment. The successful candidate will be expected
to undertake an enhanced Disclosure Barring Service (DBS) and relevant
identity, qualification and disqualification by association checks before a
