Do you want to make a difference in the lives of children while working in a truly special place?
We are a small, welcoming Church of England primary school set in the heart of Cornwall. Here, every child is known, valued, and nurtured – not just academically, but as a whole person. We celebrate every talent, foster curiosity, and encourage our children to flourish in all they do.
Our school family works together to create a warm, supportive atmosphere where staff, children, and parents feel part of something special. Outdoor learning is at the heart of our curriculum, and our beautiful surroundings offer the perfect setting for adventures that inspire and teach.
We are seeking a SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team five mornings a week, working across the school. This varied and rewarding role will also include Midday Supervisor responsibilities, supporting our children during lunchtimes to ensure they are happy, safe, and engaged. The role is working from 8.30am to 1pm, 3.5 hours each day will be as an SEN Teaching assistant and 1 hour per day will be doing a Lunchtime Supervisor role totaling 22.5 hours per week. This role will be fixed term until 31st August 2026.
We’re looking for someone who:
Has a caring, patient, and positive approach.
Can adapt to working with different age groups and needs.
Enjoys working as part of a close-knit team.
Shares our belief in nurturing every child’s potential.
Embraces outdoor learning and the opportunities it brings.
We can offer you:
A supportive, friendly school family.
Enthusiastic and creative children who love to learn.
