We are seeking to recruit
an Art & Photography teacher to join
our Design & Technology department and become part of our cohesive,
professional and supportive team. The successful candidate will have
specialisms in at least one of these areas and a willingness to develop
expertise in the other and will teach all abilities across KS3 and KS4.
KS3 students do a carousel of textiles, art, food, 3D design and photography.
At KS4, we offer design technology, catering, textiles, art, photography and
computing.
The Technology department
is a thriving and stimulating area of the academy. The department has fully
equipped art rooms, a dedicated IT room and workshops equipped with modern IT
and 3D CAD packages, a laser cutter and 3D printer. The successful applicant
will join a collaborative department committed to producing the highest quality
work, achieving high academic standards and eager to contribute to the
extracurricular work and wider life of the academy.
