We are looking to recruit a Specialist SEND Teaching Assistant to support in our new specialist resource provision opening in September 2025.
This is an exciting opportunity for a teaching assistant passionate about SEND to come and work with children in our school with additional needs. The resource base will support 8 pupils with communication and interaction needs (ASD) all of which have EHCPs.
We are looking for a teaching assistant who is nurturing and has the skill set and expertise to support in a way that matches the children's needs in the resource provision.
As the resource base is a new provision in school, this will be an opportunity to be part of a new team that you can grow and develop.
We are looking for a teaching assistant who:
· Has a proven ability to support pupils with Communication and Interaction (ASD) needs effectively through the use of dynamic & engaging techniques.
· Can share ideas for the adjustment of learning to enable pupils to access the learning effectively.
· To build effective trusting relationships with staff, pupils, parents and external agencies.
What we offer
· Fantastic pupils who want to learn.
· A dedicated, well resourced learning space
· A friendly and inclusive team who are supportive of one another and focused on well-being.
· Opportunities and support for career development
- Be part of our Woodside family where we nurture, love and care for one another as a team with wellbeing as a focus
