About this Role

The successful candidate will deliver engaging, high-energy French lessons across [e.g., Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 / Ages 4–11. Your focus will be on building confidence, curiosity, and cultural awareness through interactive activities.


Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver fun, age-appropriate French lessons.
  • Use songs, games, and stories to engage pupils.
  • Assess and monitor pupil progress in spoken and written French.
  • Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment.
  • Support the school's commitment to a broad curriculum.

Requirements

  • Native or near-native fluency in French.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant language teaching experience.
  • Passion for teaching young children.
  • Strong behaviour management and communication skills.
