Lunchtime Supervisor -  required for as soon as possible

 

This is a permanent position at St Mary’s Catholic Academy

for 5 hours Level 3 (Actual salary £2, 886 – £2,998)

 

St Mary’s Catholic Academy is proud to be part of the St Gabriel the Archangel Catholic Multi Academy Trust. Following our recent Ofsted inspection, where we were judged to have achieved a strong standard in all areas of the framework, we are seeking to appoint a dedicated, hardworking and committed Lunchtime Supervisor to join our enthusiastic and supportive team.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

•          Be committed to delivering high standards of care and interaction with children aged between 5 – 11

•          Be flexible

•          Have good communication skills

•          Be willing to undertake training

•          Maintain professionalism at all times

•          Be responsible providing a safe and inclusive environment for all children

•          Build positive relationships with children, parents and staff

•          Perform tasks including;

-           Supervising a range of playtime tasks and activities

-           Monitor play activities, both indoors and outdoors (indoor wet breaks)

-           Communicate any messages to teachers 

-           Delivering first aid where necessary in accordance with the school’s First Aid Policy

 

Essential Requirements

  • Enjoy working with young children
  • Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills and be able to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Be committed to supporting the Catholic life and mission of the school.

 

Desirable Requirements

  • Relevant experience in working with young children

 

 

Working Hours

  • The successful applicant will be required to work Monday to Friday, 12:00 – 1:00 during term time, in accordance with the school's agreed working hours.
