About this Role

East Garforth Primary Academy are looking to appoint a Primary Teacher to join us in September 2026 or October 2026 on a part-time, temporary basis for 6.5 hours, 1 day per week, for one year.

The school community:

Our academy is located in the easily commutable outer east side of Leeds in the community of Garforth and is part of the Delta Academies Trust. We currently hold a ‘Good’ Ofsted rating and are fortunate to occupy a plot with large green spaces, which include a wildlife area.  It is our mission to offer every child high quality education in a supportive, safe and inspiring environment in which they feel valued and aspire to become life-long learners who aim to ‘be the best they can be’.

Your new role:

The successful candidate will teach pupils across all key stages in order to ensure the highest possible standards of pupil achievement, personal development and well-being. Change the wording as appropriate for the role
