St Peter’s CE Academy is part of the Nene Education Trust. It is an inclusive school with a caring ethos and a strong sense of community. We are committed to school improvement, teamwork and professional development. St Peter’s CE Academy is for children aged from 7 to 11. We are a two-form entry school. The school has a good reputation for educating children that reaches back well over 100 years.
We are looking for a Lunchtime Supervisor to actively support pupils in the dining room, playground and throughout the school premises during the lunchtime period.
Key Tasks:
Provide a safe environment for children and take responsibility for supervising and assisting children in designated areas around the school
To make decisions to resolve problems and issues that may arise during the lunchtime period
To monitor children in the dining room in order to encourage children to eat healthy, balanced lunches and adopt good eating manners
Set up and clear away tables and benches/chairs in dining areas
Encourage the children to treat each other with respect and follow the school’s behaviour policies at all times
About You
You will need to:
Have experience of supervising children as a parent or carer or in a working role
Have knowledge and understanding of managing the behaviour of groups of children
Work as part of a group and individually
Encourage high standards of pupil behaviour at all times
