About this Role

Are you a PE Instructor or Sports Coach committed to improving the lives of children and young people?

Are you looking for a job where each day is different, filled with experiences that are both challenging and fulfilling?

If you have the energy, passion, drive and resilience then we would love to have you on our team.

About the Role

• To assist with planning, implementing and delivering an appropriately broad, balanced, relevant and differentiated PE curriculum for pupils with support from teaching staff.

• To monitor and support the overall progress and development of pupils.

• To facilitate and encourage a learning experience which provides pupils with the opportunity to achieve their individual potential.

• Contribute to raising standards of pupil’s attainment, wellbeing and behaviour in line with school policies, vision and values.

About the Trust
BMAT is a thriving community of schools, committed to providing an outstanding education for every student attending one of our schools. We create environments where individuals matter, confidence flourishes, and every child can achieve exceptional outcomes. We currently oversee seven secondary academies and five primary academies, primarily located in Harlow, with additional sites in Newham and Stansted.

The Trust’s vision is clear - to work together to smash through the barriers that prevent children from becoming confident, high-achieving, and independent individuals.

What can BMAT offer you?
BMAT provides a range of benefits to support your personal and professional well-being:

  • Enhanced and flexible PPA
  • Generous employer pension contribution through Teachers Pensions or Local Government Pension Scheme
  • Private healthcare benefits, including 24/7 Doctorline access
  • Home and electronic salary sacrifice scheme
  • Cycle to work
  • Discounted Gym membership through salary sacrifice
  • Lifestyle and discount savings
  • Workplace nursery fee salary sacrifice scheme via Yellownest
  • 24/7 Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) for wellbeing support

BMAT Education is committed to safeguarding children; successful candidates will be subject to an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check. In line with Keeping Children Safe in Education (KCSIE) guidance, we may also conduct an online search about any shortlisted candidates as part of our due diligence to identify any matters that might relate directly to our legal duty to meet safeguarding duties, in accordance with Keeping Children Safe in Education (KCSIE)
