Hours: Core school tutor 

 

We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Tutor to join The Ferrers School! You will play a key role in leading, supporting and monitoring the academic and personal progress of each student within the designated house. Your dedication to high quality teaching will provide valuable support to students' development.  

 

The opportunity  

    • Promote a strong culture of achievement throughout the house team.  
    • Lead the House Team in the delivery of personal and effective student support and mentoring program.  
    • Establish effective target setting and ensure clear expectations of student achievement are set and monitored 
    • Promote and communicate a shared vision within the House Team.  

 The ideal candidate 

    • Qualified Teacher Status 
    • Showcasing strong leadership skills. 
    • Ability to build meaningful relationships that promotes a positive learning culture.  
    • Excellent classroom practitioner and ability to build strong, meaningful relationships.   
    • Possess outstanding communication skills and personal integrity.
