About this Role

Beckfoot School is seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual who is passionate about making a real difference to young people’s lives. As a Head of Year, you will play a vital role in supporting the wellbeing, safety, and inclusion of our students. Working closely with staff, families, and external agencies, you will support in creating a school environment where all students feel supported, understood and able to succeed. We are looking for someone who:

  • Is committed to improving the lives of young people, especially those with barriers to their learning 
  • Has strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport 
  • Works well in a team and is confident in working independently when needed 
  • Demonstrates professionalism, resilience and commitment to inclusion 
  • Shares our vision for creating remarkable schools where no child is left behind

 This is a permanent, 37 hour per week, term time only plus 5 days role. The working pattern for this position is Monday to Thursday 8.00am to 4.00pm and 8.00am to 3.30pm on Friday.
