About this Role
We are looking for a committed and experienced Premises
Officer to join our team here at Greenwood Academies Trust. You will be based
at the Skegby Junior Academy.
Previous experience of buildings and asset management is a
must, along with experience of supervising and motivating staff and managing
work programmes; additionally, you must be a great team player with the ability
to manage and lead a small team. You must possess excellent communication and
interpersonal skills at all levels. IT literacy is a must as you will using a
number of systems to input data.
Duties will include:
- ensuring
that the environment (internal and external) of all buildings, are safe,
secure, well maintained and meet Health and Safety requirements.
- assisting
the Operations Directorate in the development and implementation of Trust
Strategies across the Trust.
- to
maintain full statutory compliance in the specified academies
- premises
management
- maintenance
and cleanliness of the sites
- organising
and managing with contractors in line with Trust procedures
- ensuring
the security of the buildings
- line
management of a Premises Assistant
- supporting
the delivery of Capital projects
- Ensuring
relevant statutory, environmental, professional and technical standards
are identified and maintained in relation to the premises, land and
property issues.
