We have recently started on a new journey at Skegby Junior
Academy. With a new Principal leading the school, it is a really exciting time
to be part of a dynamic and enthusiastic team supporting the children of Skegby
to thrive.
At the Skegby Junior Academy, we provide a high-quality
education for all our pupils, enhanced by a caring and positive atmosphere and
underpinned by our SMART Values. We know that pupils learn more effectively if
they feel valued, happy and secure.
Our children have access to a broad and balanced curriculum
and are able to develop their physical skills through a range of activities,
after-school clubs and competitions. We place high expectations on our children
and work hard together to help them achieve success.
We give children opportunities to become effective learners
through our five ‘R’s, (reflective, relationships, resilience, resourcefulness
and risk-taking), which will give them the flexibility to adapt to an
ever-changing world.
