This is an exciting opportunity for a talented and ambitious teacher to lead Maths across a successful and forward-thinking primary school.

The role
As Maths Lead, you will drive excellence in mathematics across the school while continuing to deliver high-quality teaching in your own classroom.
Maths leadership
Lead the development and delivery of a clear, ambitious Maths curriculum
Drive high standards of teaching, learning, and achievement in Maths across all year groups
Support and develop colleagues to deliver consistently strong Maths teaching
Monitor pupil progress and use data to inform improvement strategies
Promote a love of Maths and a positive, confident learning culture
Classroom teaching
Deliver engaging, high-quality lessons that challenge and inspire all learners
Ensure all pupils make strong progress through effective teaching and assessment
Create an inclusive classroom environment where every child can succeed
Whole school contribution
Contribute to the wider life and ongoing development of the school
Support school priorities and continuous improvement
Build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and families

You will:
Be a strong classroom practitioner with a track record of securing good or better outcomes
Have a passion for Maths and a clear understanding of effective teaching in the subject
Be confident supporting and developing colleagues
Have high expectations for all pupils and a commitment to inclusion
Be proactive, enthusiastic, and motivated to contribute to school improvement
