Teachers Pay Scale

We seek to appoint a Class Teacher with excellent communication skills, a passion for teaching and learning who will fully embrace the SS Peter and Paul’s way.

We welcome applications from teachers who are committed to developing ways to engage all pupils in meaningful learning experiences across the curriculum through inclusive, adaptive teaching with high expectations for all. Applicants must be committed to helping pupils to be inspired by our catholic values to lead remarkable lives on a  ‘firm foundation of love, learning and service’.

If you are either an early career teacher or an experienced teacher, you are warmly invited to visit the school to meet the team, see the school in action and to find out about the SSPP way prior to the interview.

The appointed candidate will:

  • Create a safe and supportive teaching and learning environment where engaging and challenging learning takes place

  • Ensure that all pupils make excellent progress from their starting points

  • Contribute to the strong Catholic ethos of our school

  • Work in partnership with  parents, all staff and governors to deliver the best provision for our children.

We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. All appointments are subject to an enhanced DBS check, satisfactory references, and pre-employment medical clearance. In line with Keeping Children Safe in Education (KCSIE), online searches will also be carried out for shortlisted candidates. This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974.

To arrange a visit please telephone 01902 556447 to arrange a suitable time.

Closing Date: Thursday 5th May 2026 at 12 noon
