About this Role

We are seeking to appoint a dynamic, highly organised and excellent teaching assistant to join our friendly and supportive Primary Phase. The successful candidate will support children across the Primary Phase with potential to work with children from EYFS - Year 6 (KS1 & KS2)

Washwood Heath Academy is an ‘All Through’ Academy (Primary, Secondary and Sixth Form) in the East of Birmingham. This is a fantastic opportunity to join an established Primary team and contribute to the Primary Phase, which seeks to provide a first-class education for all of its learners.

You will be a Teaching Assistant who:

  • has experience of working in a school environment;
  • has proven skills that will contribute to classroom practice
  • is a reflective and flexible practitioner;         
  • is committed to developing personalised learning;
  • will contribute to the development of the school and the Washwood Heath Multi-Academy Trust in raising standards.
  • has excellent interpersonal skills, and be able to communicate effectively with children, staff and parents.
