About this Role

We are looking for a dedicated cleaner to join our school team. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in ensuring our school is a welcoming, secure, and well-maintained space where children can thrive.

This role is all year round and working 10 hours per week, Monday - Friday 15.45-17.45, with consolidated hours during the school closure periods, e.g. school holidays. It is temporary until August 31st in the first instance.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Cleaning classrooms and shared spaces
  • Cleaning toilets
  • Sweeping
  • Vacuum cleaning
  • Mopping
  • Emptying of classroom/office rubbish bins
  • Polishing fixtures and fittings, using where appropriate, powered equipment
  • Cleaning sickness and bodily fluids when required, using correct PPE, chemicals and equipment
  • Storage and usage of chemicals in accordance with COSH Regulations
