About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our team at Mayflower Community Academy. This is an exciting opportunity to support teachers in delivering high-quality learning and play a vital role in helping every child reach their full potential.

You will work closely with teaching staff to create a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment, supporting pupils both in and outside the classroom.

We are looking for Teaching Assistants who:

  • Hold an NVQ Level 2 qualification (or equivalent) and GCSE Maths & English at Grade C or above
  • Has experience working in a primary school setting
  • Is passionate about supporting children’s learning and development
  • Demonstrates strong communication skills and emotional intelligence
  • Can work collaboratively and use initiative effectively
  • Has a positive, flexible, and proactive attitude
