Mayflower Community Academy are looking for an energetic, warm and caring Classroom Teacher, who is highly effective in the planning, teaching and evaluation of learning opportunities. The Classroom Teacher will join a supportive and successful team, committed to excellence, inclusion and high expectations for all.
The successful Classroom Teacher will have vision, energy and passion to
provide a creative and invigorating learning environment for all children. We
are looking to appoint an outstanding Teacher who prides themselves on
delivering exciting learning experiences and has the creativity and
determination to drive the school forward.
We are looking for Classroom Teachers who can:
· Demonstrate high expectations of both pupil
achievement and behaviour for all
· Able to provide a stimulating, attractive and safe
environment for the children
· Able to build and maintain positive relationships
with pupils, colleagues and families
· The ability to develop positive behaviour
strategies with children and be committed to inclusion
· Flexible with a strong commitment to teamwork
· Dedicated to delivering a broad and balanced
curriculum
· Able to contribute to the wider life of the school
· Have recent experience of working in a key stage 1 - preferably year 2
Mayflower Community Academy is an Outstanding two form entry school who also work in partnership with Ford Primary School, and together are looking to move forward with strengthening the educational offer across the PL2 area of Plymouth, looking to attract and welcome skillful teachers who are interested in developing exceptional learning opportunities for pupils and their families.
