An inspirational scientist is needed to join our wonderful team and bring Science to life for our students! We are seeking a dedicated head of department to provide excellent leadership and enhance our provision. With five well-equipped laboratories, an excellent science technician, and a supportive team, this is a fantastic opportunity for the right candidate. We are looking to appoint an outstanding teacher of Science with experience of teaching across KS3 and 4 - someone who is ambitious, passionate, and rigorous in leading and supporting the department. This role will play a key part in driving forward standards of attainment and progress while promoting a positive mindset in students.
Sir Thomas Fremantle is set in North Buckinghamshire for 11-16 year olds serving the local community. The school is in easy reach of Milton Keynes and Aylesbury. We benefit from great facilities – the school building was only opened in 2017.
We are driven to ensure all our students have an incredible education that inspires and prepares them for the next step in their journey. With 600 students we are able to really get to know each of them and our sense of community is a real strength of our school.
