About this Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate School Medical Officer to join our team, taking a lead role in the provision and promotion of health services to support the health and well-being of students and staff. This is a unique opportunity for a skilled healthcare professional to contribute significantly to our school community by ensuring a safe, healthy, and supportive environment.

In this role, the School Medical Officer will:

  • Lead the delivery and promotion of comprehensive health services within the school, fostering a culture of health awareness and well-being.
  • Provide high-quality medical care to students, addressing both routine healthcare needs and unexpected medical issues.
  • Manage and maintain accurate medical records in accordance with legal and regulatory standards, ensuring confidentiality and compliance at all times.
  • Respond effectively to emergency situations, particularly those requiring First Aid intervention, demonstrating confidence and competence under pressure.

While we welcome applications from all qualified professionals, preference will be given to candidates with prior experience in school healthcare, pediatric care, or other related fields. Individuals with transferable skills, such as strong organisational abilities, excellent communication, and a background in handling emergency situations, are also strongly encouraged to apply.

If you are passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of young people and contributing to a supportive school environment, we would love to hear from you. Join us in this meaningful role and help ensure the health and success of our school community.
