We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Pastoral Assistant to join our school community, playing an essential role in fostering a supportive and positive environment that helps students thrive both academically and socially. Reporting to the Assistant Headteacher, you will provide crucial support to the Heads of Year, assisting with administrative tasks, managing behaviour incidents, and coordinating student interventions.
Key responsibilities include supervising students in structured settings such as the reflection room and detentions, liaising with parents and external agencies, and analysing behavioural data to implement strategies for improvement. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in a pastoral or student support role within an educational setting, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with staff, students, families, and external organisations. Sensitivity, professionalism, and strong organisational skills are essential for managing multiple responsibilities effectively.
