About this Role

The Palmer Academy is seeking an enthusiastic, skilled, and inspirational Key Stage 1 Lead to join our dedicated team. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced teacher with strong leadership skills to make a significant impact on teaching, learning, and outcomes across Key Stage 1.

The successful candidate will lead and develop high-quality provision in KS1, support and coach colleagues, and work closely with senior leaders to drive continuous improvement.

You will bring:

  • A relentless drive to achieve excellence for the children in your care

  • Excellent interpersonal skills

  • A track record of effective, good or outstanding classroom practice in Key Stage 1

  • Evidence of strong leadership or leadership potential
  • Excellent knowledge of the KS1 curriculum and assessment
  • Strong communication skills and a positive, warm sense of humour

  • Good organisational skills

  • Creativity that inspires and enhances teaching and learning
