Are you a passionate and qualified Early Years professional who loves helping children thrive?

 Pegasus Primary School is opening a brand-new nursery provision in September 2026 for children aged 2–4 years.  Our nursery is being designed to provide a high-quality early years environment that supports children’s curiosity, communication, creativity and independence through carefully planned learning experiences and purposeful play.

 We are seeking a caring, enthusiastic and ambitious Level 3 practitioner to join our growing Early Years team and help establish a nurturing, inspiring and high-quality nursery environment for our youngest learners.

 About the Role

You will play a key part in delivering high-quality care and education within our nursery, supporting children aged 2-4 years in a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment. You will work closely with colleagues to ensure every child is supported to reach their full potential.

 What You’ll Be Doing

·        Planning and delivering engaging, EYFS-based activities

·        Supporting children’s learning, development, and wellbeing

·        Acting as a key worker, building strong relationships with children and families

·        Monitoring and recording children’s progress

·        Maintaining a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment

 What We’re Looking For

·        Full and relevant level 3 Childcare/ Early Years qualification or equivalent

·        Experience working in an early years or a nursery setting

·        Excellent communication skills with children, parents and professionals and a strong knowledge and understanding of the EYFS framework

·        A caring, enthusiastic and team-focused approach

·        Commitment to safeguarding and promoting children’s welfare
