About this Role

We are looking for an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Head of Year 9 who is committed to getting the best outcomes for pupils and to lead our  Head of Year team.  You can build effective working relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues and can adapt your teaching to meet the needs of all pupils.  If this sounds like you, then we want to hear from you.

This is a Fixed term role until 31 August 2027, full time position starting from 01 September 2026.

St Peter and St Paul, Catholic Voluntary Academy is a secondary school located in Lincoln. We are an Ofsted-rated GOOD school.  

We are part of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Multi-Academy Trust, bringing together the 36 Catholic Primary and Secondary schools in Lincolnshire, Nottingham City and Nottinghamshire.

FOR INTERNAL ADVERTS:

A TLR 2a has been determined as the appropriate rate for the role in line with the level of responsibilities outlined above. In accordance with School Teachers Pay Terms and Conditions Document, “a teacher cannot hold two TLRs concurrently (TLR 1 and 2). Where the successful candidate already holds an existing TLR, the TLR amount determined for this role will not automatically be awarded to the post holder (in addition to their existing TLR amount). The existing and additional role and level of responsibilities will be reviewed in line with the current TLR structure within the School/ Trust and may result in an alternative or no TLR amount being awarded.
